In art this week, class 3 have had fun learning how to weave!

Next week we are going to make farmyard animal pictures using the weaving technique. The pictures will be displayed in our school corridor.

Class 3 have enjoyed playing lots of different phonics games and activities this week.

Class 3 had a visit from a very special person today – Santa! He gave each of us a lovely present and wished us a merry Christmas.

Class 3 had so much fun performing their Christmas production of ‘The Grumpy Sheep’. They worked so hard to learn their lines and the singing and acting was fantastic! The children also enjoyed dancing, playing games and eating yummy party food at their Christmas party.

The children in class 3 had lots of fun making healthy winter soup this week. They chopped carrots, potatoes, onions and turnip and put it into a soup maker. They then tasted their yummy soup with bread. It was lovely!

Class 3 have been learning all about money this week. We practised buying some items in a fruit shop and chose coins to make different amounts.

The children in class 3 performed brilliantly in their assembly about Road Safety Week. They said their lines clearly and the singing and dancing was fantastic! Earlier in the week, they designed bright and colourful reflective jackets to help keep them same when crossing the road, which they held up to show in the assembly. Well done, class 3!

Class 3 have really enjoyed learning all about Children in Need. We were even visited by Pudsey Bear! We were so excited to see him and give him our donations.

Class 3 have been learning all about the human body! We had fun learning the skeleton dance and naming different parts of our bodies.
