The 2 year old children have been exploring different types of fruit this week. They cut apples, oranges and bananas to make a fruit salad – they had a lovely time tasting the fruit. They then cut and tasted citrus fruit – they didn’t like the taste of that so much.
The children printed with the fruit, cut the prints out and made their own fruit bowl.
The 30 hour children have been learning all about parks and play equipment. They have been drawing plans of their favourite thing in the park and then they have started to make their own piece of play equipment.
The children in the main room are learning about under the sea. This week we have been printing and colouring different types of fish. We had some amazing colouring.
We have been counting and sorting amounts of fish and playing a sea side themed dominoe game to encourage turn taking, sharing working together and helping each other and cooperation.
