This week we have been sorting and counting different animals.
We enjoyed having our grown ups in Nursery for our ‘Christmas Craft Day’
Class 4 made vegetable soup as part of their ‘Winter Warmers’ DT topic. Over the last few weeks the children have been designing labels for their soup tins, deciding which vegetables to use to make their healthy soup and practicing preparing the vegetables. This week the children made their soup using carrots, parsnip, potatoes and onions.
Everyone enjoyed tasting the yummy soup. It was delicious!
We have been looking at different shapes in the environment. We went on a shape hunt to find them.
We have been making roads using the blocks and talking about road safety during our play. We made our own traffic lights to use when playing with the cars and people. We know that red means STOP and green means GO.
Class 4 had a brilliant time at the Mini Tennis Festival at Temple Park. They learned new racket skills and played lots of different games including balloon rally, bean bag relay, ball volley and floor tennis.
We had a super spooky time at our Halloween party this week.
