In class 4 we have been creating our very own non-fiction book, all about keeping healthy.
We had lots of steps to follow before our book was complete and put in the school library.
Our book includes: 4 chapters (healthy foods, water intake, exercise and hygiene), a contents page, page numbers, labels, helpful illustrations and a eye catching front cover page.
We decided to name our book: Healthy!
We can’t wait for the school to enjoy our book and learn lots of new and interesting facts about being healthy!
Take a look at some photographs of the creation/book making process:
Our Maths fun!
We have continued our measures topic focusing on weighing this week.
We used non-standard units first to determine the weight of lots of different objects in our classroom, then moved onto using grams.
Class 4 could all give a good estimate before weighing and used the terminology heaviest, lightest and equal (balanced).
