In our Geography lesson we have been learning all about the continent of Antarctica.
Class 6 have had lots of fun celebrating Children in Need today. They carried out maths activities using coins to make the amounts shown on Pudsey Bear’s fundraising buckets, wrote persuasive letters asking people to donate to Children in Need, and created some lovely 3D ‘Pudsey Bears’ using paper plates.

Class 6 enjoyed creating some fabulous fireworks pictures in their art lesson this week.

Class 6 have been learning about addition and subtraction this week. They used their knowledge of partitioning to solve subtraction calculations using tens frames and counters.
Class 6 have written some fabulous Autumn poems using adjectives, nouns and verbs. They were very proud of their work. 🍁
In our Maths lessons this week we have been comparing objects and numbers using language such as ‘more than’, ‘less than’ and ‘equal to’.
Class 6 have been reading the story of The Good Little Wolf this week and have written some fantastic instructions on how to be a big bad wolf!
