Class 6 have been learning all about old and new toys and have enjoyed creating their own Cup and Ball toys.

We have been talking about good secrets (like a surprise birthday present or a surprise party) and ‘worry’ secrets in our circle time/PSHE lesson this week. We know that if someone asks us to keep a secret that makes us feel worried or scared we must tell someone who can help us and never keep these types of worries to ourselves.
This morning we noticed that a witch’s hat had been left in our classroom…Demeanor The Queen of Witches from the story Lily, Windy and the Witch had been in our classroom and left us a message!
She asked us to write a fantasy story all about her…or else she would drink our blood! 😧 The children wrote some brilliant fantasy stories about Demeanor, including lots of magical characters and fantasy settings. Well done, Class 6! 🧙🏻♀️

Class 6 have been adding multiples of ten to two digit numbers in their maths lessons this week.

This term we are learning all about habitats. Class 6 went out into the school grounds to look at the different microhabitats and completed tally charts to show the types of minibeasts found in each microhabitat. They then used their tally charts to create pictograms!
Class 6 had a surprise visit from a very special person this morning – Santa! He brought some lovely gifts for the children and he even sang some Christmas songs with us! 🎅🏻
Have a great Christmas everyone! 😄🎄☃️
