Class 3 have had a lovely afternoon creating weather vanes.

The children in Class 3 did brilliantly in their first class assembly this morning all about the story Don’t Hog the Hedge. ⭐️
Class 3 had a visit from Hoop Starz who taught us a range of hoop skills. The children absolutely loved taking part.
Class 3 have created colour wheels by mixing the primary colours; red, blue and yellow.
Class 3 have been reading the story Farmer Duck this week. They wrote some lovely sentences using lots of adjectives to describe Farmer Duck.
The children in Class 3 have all settled in brilliantly this week. They have enjoyed doing lots of fun activities and seeing all of their friends again after the summer holidays.
In our PSHE lesson this week we learnt about human development and how people change over time. The children talked about what people can do at each stage of their lives as they change from a baby to an adult.
Class 6 have been learning about deciduous and evergreen trees. They had lots of fun identifying and naming the different trees in the school grounds and working out whether they are deciduous or evergreen. We found lots of deciduous trees like beech, ash and birch trees. We even found an apple tree!
Class 6 made clocks with ‘past’ and ‘to’ times and used these to help them solve time problems involving telling time to 5 minute intervals.
This week we have been telling time to 15 minute intervals.
