Well done everyone!
We have had a brilliant afternoon at St Hilda’s Church!
We have enjoyed learning about how to keep safe on the internet this week!
In class 4 we have making our very own Non-Fiction book called:
Healthy!
It will be put in our school library for others to read and learn lots of new things from.
Our Maths fun!Ā
We have continued our measures topic focusing on weighing this week.
We used non-standard units first to determine the weight of lots of different objects in our classroom, then moved onto using grams.
Class 4 could all give a good estimate before weighing and used the terminology heaviest, lightest and equal (balanced).
Class 4 and their brilliant friendship assembly…..
Our special message:
‘When you give your love, it grows and grows and GROWS!
Class 3 and 4 worked together this week to discuss the importance of washing their hands!
Together they used the 6 Thinking Hats to have a debate:
The Yellow hat was for the good points
The Black hat was for the bad points
The Red hat was for feelings
The Green hat was for ideas
The White hat was for the facts
Finally the Blue hat for next steps.
We all had a lot of fun during our interesting debate. The outcome was that hand washing is very very important and even though it might take a long time and can sometimes be a bit boring it just MUST BE DONE!
Our message to send home is ….
Don’t spread germs wash your hands!
These children in class 4 had either 99% or 100% attendance last term!
FANTASTIC!
A big WELL DONE to our winners!
This week in class and assembly we have been thinking about our 2017 New Years resolutions.
We came up with some brilliant ones.
I hope we can all stick to them!
Class 4 met Santa today and receivedĀ a lovely gift.
What a great day to end a brilliant term!
See you back in school in 2017 everyone
