Year 1 have been busy becoming authors this week! ✏️
After enjoying the story Wild, the children stepped into the shoes of the main character and wrote their own letters in first person, as Wild herself.
They thought carefully about Wild’s experiences, how she might have been feeling and what she would want to say. I was so impressed with how the children used their knowledge of the story to bring Wild’s voice to life in their writing!
