This week in Class 6 we have been learning all about the Gunpowder plot, this is because we arrived on Monday to find a mysterious package had been delivered to us, it had travelled in time from Guy Fawkes!
After opening the package we decided to learn all about who Guy Fawkes was and why he was so important! In History we created wanted posters to warm everybody about who Guy Fawkes was and what they should do if they find him!
We enjoyed creating our own pictures of the fireworks we set off to celebrate the failure of the gunpowder plot, we used chalk and smudged the colours to create some amazing artwork!
We learned that people in England hated King James I because he was a Protestant and made England a Protestant country, in doing this he was incredibly unkind to the Catholics.
Our big write this week was inspired by this story so we decided to rewrite it ourselves!
