This week in Class 5 we have been learning about money. Our challenge this week was to investigate how many ways
we could make £1 using more than 2 coins.
This week in DT class 5 have made their own models of the millennium bridge.
In our DT lessons we have designed and made our own models of the Angel of the North.
This week in our science lesson, we have been investigating whether the tallest children have the biggest feet. In groups we measured each others feet and height, then compared them to find out whether the tallest children have the biggest feet.

This week we have had lots of fun getting ready for Easter. We have decorated our own eggs, made Easter cakes and baskets. Happy Easter!
Today class 5 are all wearing pyjamas for comic relief. We have designed our own red noses and have talked why the charity is important.
Class 5 had lots of fun following a recipe to make fruit muffins as part of our DT work. Next week we are going to write instructions to tell others how to make them too!
Year 2 had a fantastic morning at the athletics festival. We all took part in different activities which helped us to develop skills like balancing, throwing and catching.
This week Class 5 have been working very hard preparing for our assembly. We dressed up as our favourite animals on Thursday for World Book Day and brought our favourite books in to share.
Class 5 have enjoyed their maths challenge today! We had to double numbers and use our problem solving skills to build a robot.
