The children have enjoyed doing lots of fun Easter themed activities this week. They have made Easter cards, designed eggs for the Boiled Egg Competition, enjoyed Spring themed story evenings, and took part in an egg hunt!

Class 3 enjoyed making pizzas during their DT lesson by adding lots of delicious toppings. They were very tasty!

In our literacy lesson this week we have been learning how to change nouns from singular to plural by adding either ‘s’ or ‘es’ to the end of the word.
The children have enjoyed coming to school in their pyjamas to raise money for Comic Relief.
Class 3 did a wonderful assembly all about ‘being healthy’. They told a story, recited an acrostic poem and provided lots of information about how to be healthy. Well done, Class 3!
The children in Class 3 had so much fun coming into school dressed as Kings and Queens for World Book Day.
Class 3 have enjoyed reading The Runaway Chapati this week. They made some delicious chapati’s, just like the one in the story.
Well done to Class 3 for a fantastic assembly all about Burns Night, which takes place on 25th January.

Class 3 have been writing descriptive sentences about Handa from the story Handa’s Surprise. The children worked hard to include a range of interesting adjectives, like ‘thoughtful’ and ‘generous’. 😃
