In Class One we have been reading the story ‘Supertato’. We have had lots of fun designing and making our own vegetable superhero.

This week we have been working in groups to make autumn collages in the outdoor area. We collected our own autumn materials and arranged them to make a picture on the floor.

Class One have been having lots of fun in PE. We have learnt how to move in a variety of different ways and also how to use space in the hall safely.

We loved playing a game called ‘dodgems’ where we had to listen carefully to instructions.

This week we have started learning some new sounds. We have been practising reading and writing the letters s,a,t and p.

This week Class One have been learning about Elmer the elephant. We have read the book, used picture cards to re-tell the story, painted a picture of Elmer and talked about our favourite colours and what makes us special.
