Class 6 have been very busy this week making Christingles and making a split pin Santa. They have also had a special visitor, Miss Ibbetson and her baby Jacob.


Class 6 had an excellent time participating in the multi skills event at Temple Park Leisure Centre. They played lots of games to develop skills such as agility, balance and coordination.
Class 6 enjoyed playing in the snow yesterday. They even made a little snowman although it had melted by the end of the day!
Well done to Jordan for writing a fantastic story about a boy afraid of the dark. He used adjectives and adverbs.

Class 6 have had a great day dressed up to raise money for Children in Need. They have had fun solving Pudsey Bear maths challenges, written a letter persuading parents to donate money to Children in Need and enjoyed making a Pudsey Bear collage in art this afternoon.
Class 6 have been learning about Remembrance Day and made some excellent poppies in their art lesson using split pins.
Class 6 have been very busy rehearsing for their class assembly this week. They have found out about Guy Fawkes in history and have written firework poems using adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs in literacy. In art, they made fabulous firework pictures using a range of resources.
Class 6 have designed and made a range of spooky spoons this week.
Class 6 had a lovely visit from Florence Nightingale this week and asked her lots of questions.
Class 6 have thoroughly enjoyed making rainbow sherbet and watching a sweet demonstration from the Victorian Kitchen.
