In History, we love learning about heroes from our local area. This week, we started learning about Kirkpatrick! We know that Kirkpatrick was from Tyne Dock, South Shields – this is just up the road from us! We were amazed to find out that he saved the lives of 300 men in the war by transporting men on his donkey to the first aid station. Here is some work we completed – we feel so grateful that a hero came from our local town.
