This week in History we have been looking at job roles from 1666, we first discussed jobs that we know exist now and then thought about jobs that might have existed in the past. We found that there were lots of jobs that people sued to do that we cannot do now, such as a rat catcher! We learned that rat catchers existed in London due to the high number of rats!
”Rats spread lots of germs!”
”They might bite you when you catch them!”
”I don’t want to be a rat catchers and get poorly!”
After learning about these different jobs we then wrote and drew them in a table.
